Eurobike is being held from the 28th to the 31st, where each manufacturer is unveiling their new models. Amidst all this, some news has just arrived from Chris King: Turquoise is making a comeback as a limited edition color.
It looks a bit deeper than the original turquoise, but regardless, it is happy news. It makes me start running an imaginary bike shop in my head, thinking, "I should get a frame that matches this headset..." I'm looking forward to it already.
Now, while a new color has joined the lineup, there are also colors that have been discontinued, much to the regret of many. Before I knew it, Brown had disappeared from the color lineup. It is now only available while supplies last. We still have some headsets and R45 hubs in stock. Now is your chance.
Today, I worked on a customer's bike, replacing parts with those very brown headsets and hubs.
The customer was torn about which headset color to choose, but decided on Brown because "it's going away soon."
I personally use several brown parts myself, and while it's a shame since it's a color I like, if you've been on the fence, act fast.
