WTB was established in 1982. Although few manufacturers were making MTB parts at the time, WTB’s parts, with their unique aesthetic, were renowned for their high durability and usability. They have long been beloved not only by many cyclists in California, where WTB is based, but also by numerous handmade builders on the West Coast.
WTB has now undergone a major renewal of their saddle lineup. While the shapes of the existing models remain the same, they have shed their rugged, old-school aesthetic for a sleek, cool new look.
The newly added High Tail features a unique curved rear shape designed to prevent the saddle from contacting the tire even when a full-suspension bike bottoms out. Its clean form makes it a great match not just for full-suspension bikes, but for road and CX bikes as well.
Furthermore, carbon rail models have been added to WTB’s classic “Silverado” and “Volt” saddles, offering the same comfort with reduced weight. Their all-black, racy finish, made possible by the carbon rails, is another standout feature.
