TRP "RRL SS Lever" & "Spyre" in stock!!

While not explosively popular, TRP's single-speed levers are back in stock! They are often sold out before you know it, as they offer not only a simple look but also genuine ease of use. This time, we have also received the Spyre, which is sure to become a classic for mechanical disc brakes!

TRP “RRL-Alloy SS Lever” ¥6,000 (excl. tax)

TRP “RRL-SR SS Lever” ¥9,000 (excl. tax)

The compact, ergonomically designed hoods are easy for riders with smaller hands to grip, and the integrated cable release allows you to release the brake with the push of a button, which is a great help when removing or attaching wheels.
Please note that these are road levers and cannot be used with V-brakes or MTB mechanical disc brakes.

TRP “SPYRE” ¥11,000 (excl. tax)

Also back in stock after a long absence is the Spyre. This is a cable-actuated disc brake compatible with road levers, but it uses dual-piston actuation, resulting in a very good brake touch and feel.

When it comes to mechanical road disc brakes, there are other options from Shimano and Avid. Shimano's BR-CX77 has an edge in terms of cost performance, while Avid's BB7SL and BB7S are superior in their compatibility with SRAM levers and ease of fine-tuning.
The Spyre is priced between those options, yet its high performance is well-proven among our circle. It is perfect for cyclocross, of course, but I personally also recommend it for touring bikes, commuters, and cargo bikes.
