It has already been two weeks since we all headed out to the snow-covered slopes. Having not done any winter sports in years, I was missing a lot of gear, so I ended up picking up various items just in time for the trip. The Wildcat, newly released this season from SMITH OPTICS, is a pair of sunglasses featuring large lenses inspired by goggles. Its shape is designed to minimize wind turbulence while maintaining ventilation. Additionally, they prevent light leakage from the gaps and, since the frames are less likely to enter your field of vision, they ensure a very wide view.

Furthermore, the lens curve is slightly shallower, and the nose pad angle can be adjusted in two stages, ensuring a secure fit and making it less likely for the sunglasses to hit your cheeks.
Lightweight frame with quick-change clear lens included
The frame is constructed by combining TR90, which is lightweight and offers excellent elasticity and impact resistance, with flexible TPU like that used in goggles. This results in minimal stress when worn, while also making lens changes effortless.

The standard ChromaPop, Smith's original lens, features a wider range of light and dark adaptation than conventional lenses, allowing it to demonstrate its superior functionality in a variety of weather conditions and fields.
