The truth about the new model's details! Tomorrow is the final day of the SMITH POPUP!

Our popular SMITH OPTICS / POPUP SHOP will have its final day tomorrow.

Perhaps due to the high level of interest, we have received many pre-orders, and the Matte Gravy, with its understated and versatile color, as well as the uniquely colored Matte Dust Rose and Matte Acid Burst, have been particularly well-received.

Today, I would like to introduce a feature unique to an eyewear brand that we didn't mention in our initial announcement: how to store your sunglasses on the helmet.

The photo above shows a SMITH PIVLOCK ARENA stored in an OVERTAKE.

In our flagship OVERTAKE and FOREFRONT models, the temples fit perfectly into designated slots, which is an excellent detail. I personally use this feature while riding, but to be honest, when riding on rough terrain where my head moves up and down, I sometimes worry that they might accidentally fall out. Because of this, I have mainly used this storage method when slowly climbing long mountain passes while seated, or when stepping off the bike to take a break.

However, this new model features channels that follow the curve of the helmet, with gaps perfectly sized for the temples. This maintains the same integrated look with the helmet as before, but with much more secure retention, allowing you to store your sunglasses with peace of mind even when you want to take them off during a ride. This is a detail characteristic of Smith, demonstrating their strong focus on the fusion of eyewear and helmets.

While they are basically designed to fit Smith's own sunglasses, your current eyewear might fit as well, so if you are curious, why not bring your sunglasses and come try them on? Of course, we also have a selection of SMITH eyewear available. Tomorrow is the final day, so please be sure to stop by!
