Our playful event called RIDEALIVE, themed "Circles’ Summer Vacation," is entering its fifth year. We’re holding it in various locations once again, seeking out new fields and encounters with masters of play. Playing and living—we are going to enjoy this creativity with everything we've got.
With "ride + camp" as our foundation, we approach bicycling as a lifestyle that expands into various other outdoor activities. Last year, RIDEALIVE moved beyond our home turf of Aichi, focusing on three main events in Mie, Shizuoka, and Gifu, plus a special Yatsugatake edition. This year, we’ve decided to expand our field even further afield!
The first RIDEALIVE of 2018 was a sudden special edition, RIDEALIVE SHINSYU INA Valley, handled by JUS. The first main event of this year will be the GIRLS RIDEALIVE in Hokkaido, a women-only ride planned by women—a first-time endeavor for us.
If you want to ride a bike and see scenery you don't usually see, or if you want to take on a challenge, we’re going to make it happen with this ride!
The Stage is Hokkaido
Based in the international resort of Niseko, let’s enjoy a refreshing summer on bicycles, surrounded by blue skies, majestic greenery, and the bounty of nature! Over two days, we will circle Mt. Yotei, the mountain that represents Hokkaido. Known by the indigenous Ainu people as Matnesiri ("female mountain"), Mt. Yotei is a power spot for women! At night, you can enjoy hot spring hopping in Niseko.
On the second day, we’ll aim for Shinsen-numa, said to be the most beautiful spot in the Niseko mountain range. The outward journey involves some steep climbing, but the mystical scenery of Shinsen-numa is an absolute must-see; we’ll even get off our bikes for a one-hour round-trip hike! With delicious breaks along the way, this is a full-enjoyment Hokkaido tour aimed at the finish line in Otaru.

Ambassadors

A food consultant who stays close to Hokkaido's nature to create food that makes the body happy. The energy bars and granola created by this grounded individual go down easily and give you a real boost. Aya-chan is in charge of our nutrition and food support for this ride!

SAM’S BIKE is a bicycle shop in Sapporo run by a female owner. We don't get to see her often, but she always stops by when she comes to Nagoya. We love her warm personality and wanted to do something fun together. To make our wish to ride in the Hokkaido summer come true, we decided to cross the sea and fly to the northern land.
