【RAWLOW MOUNTAIN WORKS】 The front bag is finally here!!

The long-awaited front bag from RAWLOW MOUNTAIN WORKS, perfect for bike travel and rail transport, has finally arrived.

This front bag was created by two designers who are both hikers and cyclists. Just like when their Tabitibi Tote and Bike’n Hike Bag were released, this product is packed with the insights and wishes of people who truly live for cycling and the mountains, making it a highly functional bag that gets more interesting the more you learn about it. I’ve been looking forward to this, wondering what kind of ideas they would pack into this new front bag.

Packed with features

Mobile phone & map case

The first thing that catches your eye is the case on top, designed to hold your mobile phone or a map. It’s touch-sensitive, so you can use your smartphone for navigation. It’s attached with Velcro, so you can easily detach it and take it with you.

A convenient sub-bag

When I opened it up, I saw what looked like a bag-in-a-bag. "I see," I thought, "you put your valuables in there so you can just take that part with you when you get off the bike and walk." But, as it turns out, that’s not quite right.

Normally, there’s always some wasted space between a front bag and the head tube, but this sub-bag allows you to utilize that dead space to add extra storage capacity.

It’s perfect for storing things you don’t need while riding, like multi-tools or spare tubes. It’s also a welcome boost in capacity for the coming season when you need to carry extra layers. Furthermore, having this sub-bag helps prevent the main bag from sagging forward if the buckles loosen. It even comes with two cords to keep it stable even when riding on gravel.

Master your storage!

I’m also amazed at the storage capacity. I’m always cluttering up my bags and can never find what I’m looking for, but with this bag, I feel like I could finally be organized!

First, open the lid and you'll find a zippered pocket on the front. Inside the main compartment, there are two additional pockets and six storage slots secured with elastic bands, which not only make it easy to organize small items but also keep them from rattling around while you're riding. Add the stretchy side pockets to that, and you have excellent storage capacity! There’s no doubt that your bag will stay neatly organized with this.

Can also be used as a shoulder bag

You can also attach the included strap to use it as a shoulder bag. It’s incredibly convenient for touring, rail travel, and cycling trips.

Rain-resistant

The exterior is made of 1000-denier nylon, and the interior uses highly water-repellent X-PAC fabric, making it resistant to rain. That said, it’s not completely waterproof, so for items you absolutely need to keep dry, it’s safer to use a waterproof sack inside, such as the PAPERSKY Water Proof Pouch – Speedo Sack or the SEAL LINE Blocker Lite Dry Sack.

Actually, the Papersky Edition featured in these photos sold out while I was writing this blog (I’m so sorry!), but we do have the regular color variations in stock!
