"It's finally starting to warm up, we should go on a camp ride." That’s how this latest camp ride came about, born from a conversation at Hedgehog Diner over beers. Even though it was a weekday, a group of friends who were eager to go headed out to the remote depths of Mikawa. We decided on a destination but had no plan for the route. We were hoping for an adventure like the one in the movie STAND BY ME we’d watched back in the day. Because of that, we took detour after detour, and just between us, we ended up riding in the dark relying on our headlights. Please check out the photos of our camp ride on Flickr!

Although spring is just around the corner, when you go to the mountains, the climbs are hot and the descents are still cold. Choosing the right apparel is essential. To handle the dramatic temperature differences this time of year, Shiga-chan chose the 7mesh Synergy LS Jersey.

The entire front panel uses Gore Windstopper, a highly elastic soft-shell material that thoroughly blocks wind from the front. The pattern is tailored to a riding position, allowing for stress-free performance, while the back uses highly breathable fabric to smoothly vent heat during intense exertion. It’s a long-sleeve jersey without a brushed lining, making it a versatile piece you can use as a long-sleeve jersey in spring and autumn, or as a mid-layer during the winter. 7mesh items are arriving one after another, so if you're interested, please come visit us at the shop!

Some of you have told me you want to go on a camp ride, so I’m thinking of organizing another one next month. Taking this opportunity to ask... it’s okay if I take some time off, right, team?! Anyway, if you're interested, please reach out to Taka.
