Watching movies, cleaning, or just lounging around doing nothing—spending an entire day indoors can certainly be a fulfilling way to pass the time. However, if you are drawn by the beautiful blue sky outside your window and take just one step out, you’re greeted by warm sunshine pouring down and a breeze carrying the scent of the season.
Whether you are in the city or deep in the lush green mountains, it is the same everywhere, and I truly love those moments when I can feel the natural world.
November is here, and we are finally beginning to feel the arrival of autumn, but it won’t be long before the freezing cold of winter settles in. It is a season where the winds are sharp and bone-chilling, yet I still want to make sure I cherish the time I spend outdoors regardless.
To help make that time even more fulfilling this winter, we have collaborated with ALL YOURS to release a pair of warm and comfortable pants from RAL.
Lightweight, washable, and warm: The Defender
When I hear the phrase “warm and comfortable,” the first thing that comes to mind is the ALL YOURS winter staple, the Defender. Based on the concept of being “lightweight, washable, and warm,” it features a quilted fabric with insulation. Our latest release, the RAL meets ALL YOURS / Defender Player Pant, incorporates all these functional features.
100% polyester for ease of movement and care
Starting this season, the quilting used in the Defender series no longer uses cotton; from the insulation to the outer fabric, everything is now 100% polyester. This makes them lighter than before, faster to dry after washing, and with the addition of stretch, they are now even better suited for active use.
A warm aesthetic perfect for winter
The outer fabric used here is exactly the same as the one used in our Fast Pass Short this past summer. Beyond its excellent stretch and quick-drying functionality, it has a warm, textured look that feels almost like a wool blend—hard to believe it’s 100% polyester—making it perfectly suited for the winter season. These are based on our Player Pant, which we released this spring. They were launched as a pair of pants that were lightweight, easy to move in, and quick-drying, and their superior functionality and simple look made them very popular for everything from city life to various outdoor adventures.
Convenient, highly practical features
The waist is easily adjustable with a strap, and the quick-release buckle is incredibly user-friendly. The large back pocket on the right is split in two by a stitch, making it perfect for organizing keys, a smartphone, or a bandana. The front-facing pockets are especially convenient; they fit a smartphone perfectly, and you can ride your bike or pedal without feeling any stress from the items inside. Sometimes, they are so secure that you might even forget where you put them.

When items like these arrive, I can't help but start thinking about the cold winter ahead. And when I think about how I’ll get to look up at that crisp, high, bright blue winter sky, I find myself genuinely looking forward to it.

As of this autumn, the brand name has changed from DEEPER’S WEAR to ALL YOURS. While it’s sad to lose a name I’ve become so familiar with, the items they create remain the same, and I have high expectations that they will continue to produce things that fit our lives even better than before.
