I wonder how many of you remember this. When I was a child, tofu vendors would come around blowing their horns, selling tofu they had prepared that very morning.
It was just a part of everyday life for me, and I remember that on the nights I heard that horn, tofu would always be on our dinner table.
Our repair pit at Circles is open from 7:00 AM.

On April 1st, we started opening at 7:00 AM with the hope of being a place that’s always there for people who ride their bikes every day—whether they need a flat fixed on their way to work or a quick gear adjustment before a ride.
Three months have passed, and people are starting to find out. Just this morning, someone brought in a flat-tired city bike, saying, "I'm so glad you're open!"
Hearing that, I fix the bike while thinking, "I'm so glad I opened up," but I believe that when we can eventually do those repairs without even thinking about it, we will have become as much a part of the everyday landscape as the tofu vendor’s horn.
We'll be waiting for you again tomorrow morning starting at 7:00 AM. If you wake up wanting to ride your bike but can't, please open the door on the south side of the Circles building, right next to Early Birds.
