Yesterday was our day off.
The Circles crew was all about the "mountains."
It started naturally: a 20s-only ride to hit the trails.
(One person in their 30s snuck in, but they say their heart is still in their 20s.)
The rainy season is over, and the heat was intense.
It was a fun course with some solid climbs and plenty of rocky descents.
Frustratingly, as the photographer, I don't have any photos of myself riding, so here you go!
This is a shot from the summit. The view is amazing, and I always take a photo from this angle when I climb it!
We were soaked in sweat by the time we finished the descent.
The nearby river was beautiful, so we decided to splash around. I even kept my bib shorts on (lol).
It felt great. It was a day that really captured the feeling of summer.
Just between us, lots of people told me afterwards that I look like Freddie Mercury.
