My vision for the future continues to expand.

From Chunichi Shimbun's "Chunichi Shunju" column. The future is now. #circlesjapan

From today's morning edition of the Chunichi Shimbun, in the Chunichi Shunju column.

Exactly right. The future is now.

As cyclists, it is no exaggeration to say that how we live in this very moment will determine the cycling environment of the future.

For you, riding a bicycle might mean going out for a long ride on the weekend, or it might mean your daily commute to work or school. Today, I’d like to consider the latter: day-to-day riding.

When you ride a bike, "how to carry things" is an eternal theme that always follows you.

You can carry a backpack, attach a rack or panniers, or try to keep your belongings to a bare minimum. However, since carrying things is inseparable from using a bike in daily life, it’s not really possible to just subtract it from the equation, is it?

The SOMA TRADESMAN cargo bike. Designed with different-sized front and rear wheels to lower the center of gravity when carrying a load in the front, this bike is a cargo bike that offers ample carrying capacity despite its minimalist build, unlike a long-tail bike.

Heading to the market to shop, or taking the family to the park for a picnic.
It's wonderful that you can make those images of what you want to do a reality with a bicycle.

A holiday spent taking your beloved dog to a park a little distance away for a walk and a picnic. This time, we helped turn that wish into reality.

We planned a wooden box and a table according to the intended use, and asked Store In Factory—who we always rely on for our shop’s fixtures—to handle the actual construction, resulting in a wooden box that fits perfectly on the front table and a table customized for the rear rack.

We used a deeper box on the front so the dog could ride comfortably.

By bolt-mounting a foldable table to the rear rack, you can spread it out in the park to brew coffee and take a break anywhere.

A bicycle can carry your precious family, your thoughts, and your dreams. What will you carry on yours?

Of course, we also accept custom orders for sizes that fit your existing front or rear racks. Hoping to see more working bicycles on our streets, we are always here to help. Please feel free to consult with us at Circles anytime.
