Hey there!
It's Jas.
In this post, I’d like to introduce the KONA COCO bike and the Peterboro Basket rear basket. Although it’s intended to be mounted on a rear rack, it actually works great on a front rack too, so I’ll be showcasing both.
KONA COCO ¥82,000 (excl. tax)
The Kona Coco is a bike that we at Circles confidently recommend to women. With its mixte frame that makes it easy to get on and off even in a skirt, plus full front and rear fenders and disc brakes, it’s a brilliant bike that balances cute aesthetics with great usability. The disc brakes provide stable stopping power even on wet roads, making them a user-friendly system even for those with less grip strength.
Why not lead an active cycling life with this bike, whether it’s for errands or heading out a bit further for a trip?

And what really catches the eye is the Peterboro rear basket. As the name suggests, it’s meant for a rear rack, but it actually looks and functions quite well on the front, too.
The basket measures 35.5cm wide x 30.5cm deep x 30.5cm high, so it will fit on just about any front carrier with a slightly larger top plate.
Normally, it comes with hardware to sandwich the basket base to the rack plate, but if that doesn't match your specific rack, you can also attach it with zip ties.
It matches commuter bikes like the Coco, but it would also look great on a cruiser. We even installed one on a standard city bike the other day—we’d love to see more bikes around town sporting such lovely baskets!!
While it wasn’t a rear basket, someone actually joined us on the recent CRC ride with a Peterboro front basket on their road bike!! So stylish!!
The mornings and nights are still quite cold, but during the day, the warm sunlight makes it feel like spring is on its way.
Doesn't a picnic with a bike and basket this nice sound lovely?
Peterboro also offers other cute and useful everyday items like pencil baskets and trash cans, so please come check them out at the store!
