I went to Aichi Farm on a date when I was a student.

This is Shige, and lately, I’ve been using my longtime Hunter RoughRider for my commute after converting it to a flat bar. The handlebar I chose is the Smooth Move Flat Sweeper from Hunter. Its exquisite sweep is incredibly comfortable, making everything from commuting to grocery shopping feel great. Last weekend, I was dying to have some Brussels sprout pasta, so I went to the local supermarket, but they didn’t have any. After checking a few different stores, I finally found some at the Mitsukoshi fresh food section. It turned out to be a nice little errand ride, with the Brussels sprouts tucked into my Rall Front Loader.

Now, the Tokai Cyclocross Round 6 is happening this weekend. From our staff, Tomoyan and Shiga-chan are entered in C4, and Nabetaku is racing C1, betting it all on one last chance to stay in the category. Also, Mako-san says he’ll be racing for the first time in a while! The venue, Aichi Farm, is close to Nagoya, so why don’t we all ride over there together for a Sunday morning ride to watch the race? It’ll be a bit of an early start, but it should be fun!

Sunday Morning Ride – BIKE to Tokai CX –

・Sunday, January 29th, 7:00 AM: Meet at Early Birds
・Destination: Aichi Farm (977 Minamiyama, Mienogi-cho, Nisshin City) / *Dismissal at the venue

It’s about an 18km ride from Nagoya, so we’ll reach the Aichi Farm race venue in about an hour and a half. We’ll start with some warm coffee at Early Birds before heading out for a leisurely ride. SimWorks will have a booth at the venue, and you can also fill up on food from BUCYO COFFEE. Tokai Cyclocross is known for its friendly atmosphere, and this will be the first time hosting at Aichi Farm—it might even become a classic course in the region! Even if you aren’t racing, you can still test ride the course, so please join us if you’re interested!

We’ll basically be ending the ride at the venue, but if you’d like, you can take your bike on the Meitetsu Toyota Line from the nearby "Kurosasa Station" (which connects to the Tsurumai Subway Line). If you plan on taking the train, don’t forget your bike bag! We’ll be waiting for you at Early Birds at 7:00 AM this Sunday!
