We have just received the 2017 bicycle calendar by Adam Bell—a graphic designer from Munich, also known as "Adam," whose bicycle dictionary and posters are perennial favorites!

Size : 210 x 297mm
"Umwerks," the title printed on the cover packaging, is the name of the design shop Adam belongs to. This calendar features illustrations by the shop's members, all centered around the theme of bicycles. January showcases a head badge collection, April features a tricky bicycle "spot the difference," July displays an exploded view of a cool pink cruiser, September features a squirrel cracking nuts with a bicycle, and December shows Santa Claus riding a cargo bike. Each design is packed with imagination and is truly delightful!
This calendar would be perfect for your home bicycle space, a child's room, or even as a thoughtful gift. Stock is limited, so please order soon.
Along with the calendar, our long-selling bicycle encyclopedia and posters are also back in stock.
The inspiration for this bicycle encyclopedia came to Adam when he was searching online for repair methods to fix his own bike and buying vintage parts from Italy on eBay. He discovered that even the same parts often have fascinating names across different countries and languages (for example, a chainring is called "corona" in Italian), and he came up with the idea of a dictionary illustrated with parts categorized by their names.
"I thought it would be nice to have a multi-language list for all things bicycle-related," Adam says. "But I couldn't find anything good online, and the languages I wanted weren't there. So, I thought I'd just make it myself. I added illustrations to make it easier to find what you're looking for, and decided to put it in book form so it could fit in a pocket for travel or sit on a work desk."
Instead of focusing on trendy items like the latest electric components or new bottom bracket standards, the bicycles featured here are the classic, everyday bikes we’ve known for years. They help you feel more connected to the simple, fun vehicle that is the bicycle. In an age where we can access any information online, we believe these paper items created by Adam will make the cycling lives of those who hold them all the richer. Please come by the shop and take a look for yourself.
