Among the running shoes we carry at Circles is the Altra Instinct. As the model that can be called the origin of Altra running shoes, it is the most versatile pair for both long and short runs.

Truth be told, I am one of those who loves them.
Altra is the brand that introduced the world to Zero Drop shoes, which have no height difference between the toe and the heel. This Zero Drop design minimizes heel striking, allowing for a running style that is less taxing on the knees.
The Instinct, as the origin of Altra, is the perfect pair to get used to Zero Drop.
Along with Zero Drop, a major feature of Altra is its wide toe box. By allowing your toes to spread naturally and in a relaxed state, the toe box increases the contact area for a more stable run.
Once you get used to wearing them, you’ll become a captive to their comfort and find yourself wanting to wear them even when you aren't running. However, many people likely give up on them because the sporty look doesn't match their everyday style. The model I’m about to introduce is for exactly those people.

This is the daily-use model of the aforementioned Instinct, appearing as a casual leather sneaker at first glance. But because it’s Altra, the inside remains a full-fledged Zero Drop running shoe. It uses the same sole as the original Instinct, so you can even go for a run in them if you feel like it.
Available in two colors: black and brown. Both colors will go well with jeans, chinos, or even cargo pants. The black pair might even work for a business style when paired with a jacket.
They run smaller than other Altra shoes, so we recommend choosing a size 1 inch larger than your usual Altra size.
As the model name implies, if you want to feel the Zero Drop experience every day, please come by and try them on.
