It feels like this year's rainy season has been full of sudden showers in the morning and evening.
I checked the weather forecast this morning, thought, "It should be fine with this forecast!" and left the house, only to get completely rained on during my commute...
Unlike me, I passed many people riding their mamachari (city bikes) well-prepared for the rain in their rain gear.
But have you ever had that experience where, even though you thought you were prepared for the rain, you stopped to take a look and realized your new shoes or the bottom of your favorite bag were soaking wet?
Even when it rains, you want to ride your mamachari every day for commuting, school, or shopping. Because you want to ride, the unsung hero that reliably supports that desire is the fender (mudguard).
The Circles Mamachari that Shige-san introduced on the blog before, of course, also has fenders installed.
And since we are installing them anyway, we thought we should let this unsung hero shine! So, just like the Circles Mamachari, we have made fenders with powder coating from Kyutai Paint available as an option. To match the various colors of the Circles Mamachari, we chose a warm and calm ivory for the fenders.
