Nobeyama CX Day 1 finished under clear skies, a complete turnabout from last year.
Circles is providing neutral service in the team tent area.
Because the weather was good, we didn't have a constant stream of derailleur issues, but we did handle chain problems, flat tires, and the like. We'll be here tomorrow as well, so please feel free to stop by if you have any trouble during your test run.
Thanks to you all, Earlybirds was also a huge success.
Don't miss out on our burgers, which we've prepared specifically for this day, right down to the buns! Our owner is fired up for tomorrow, promising morning burritos starting at 7:30 AM, so we look forward to seeing you there!
And Cielo/Chris King Factory CX racer Josh Kelley, who competed in the UCI Elite Men's race, completed the full laps of what became a true "power course," finishing in 12th place.
Even though he said he's not a fan of power courses, he still brought the crowd to their feet by bunny-hopping the barriers!
He'll be racing in the UCI event again tomorrow, so if you're coming on Day 2, please be sure to give him your strong support! (*I will also do my best to achieve a better result tomorrow than I did today!)
