It’s already been a week since RAL COMMUNE, and it looks like Mattsun is cooking something up for 11/14 (Sat).
We’re holding a Saturday session of HEDGEHOG DINER! While pizza has been our staple menu item lately, we’ll be serving a pork sauté plate on this day. Limited to 40 servings! We’ve also prepared a student discount price, with the hope that college and high school students will come by, too. Lol. Of course, we’ll have hot wine and snacks as well.
We have two more events planned for the day!
First, the Rugby World Cup, where the efforts of the Japan national team are still fresh in our memories. Let’s all watch the final match that took place recently!
Naturally, the commentary will be provided by Circles’ resident rugger, "JUS"!! Rugby rules can be a bit complicated and confusing, so take this opportunity to learn the details while listening to a former player break it down for you.
I think this will be a great chance to get into a sport other than cycling. Definitely come by with a beer in hand!
And, it sounds like the RUNNING ALLEY CAT at last week’s RAL COMMUNE was a huge success.
Running is fun, but how about enjoying an ALLEY CAT on a bike next time?
They say it used to be held regularly in Nagoya, or maybe they didn't... Either way, I hope this serves as a good opportunity to get a feel for what an alley cat race is like.
For those who recently bought a bike and don’t know how to have fun with it, or for those who just want an excuse to come to HEDGEHOG DINER or simply want to try riding for fun, we’re hosting a "Bicycle Orienteering" session as an introductory course.
City bikes (mamachari) are more than welcome!
You’ll realize that being fast isn’t the only thing about cycling.
Don't worry, for those of you who want to go hard and ride it out, we’ve got a manifest for that too.
We are currently adjusting the start and meeting time to around 6:30.
I’ll be posting details on the HEDGEHOG DINER Instagram account (yes, we actually made one. On the down-low. Follow me!!).
So, see you all at Hedgehog on Saturday!
Oh, and a bicycle, helmet, and lights are mandatory.
