Today I received a request for a Cross-Check overhaul. The rider is a friend of mine from elementary and junior high school. He uses the bike for his daily commute. He’s been riding it for about five years, and while there haven't been any major spec changes, he brings it in for regular overhauls like this.
Since he rides it pretty hard, we’ll be giving it a thorough maintenance job this time. We’ll need to keep it for a fair amount of time, which might be a bit inconvenient for someone who uses it every day, but it’s definitely something you want to do once every year to year and a half.
