This is my go-to for days off.

Hi, JUS here.
This past holiday (Thursday), I went to GONZO PARK in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, with some staff and customers!
As many of you probably know, I feel like Tomoyan and I end up going there almost every week for one reason or another.
We’d had a streak of weeks where it rained on Thursdays, but even though the temperature was low, this day had no wind and we could feel the warmth of the sun—it was the perfect condition for dirt jumping.

Despite it being a Thursday, we somehow ended up with a large group of nine people.

GONZO PARK has several courses where you can ride mountain bikes and BMX bikes.
Sometimes people even use them for cyclocross practice.
We mainly stick to the dirt jump course, but there are also pump tracks, a race course,
slalom, climbing pumps, and a kids' course.

Basically, you use "push & pull"—shifting your center of gravity to use the slopes of the rollers to accelerate
and move forward. It feels a lot like being on a swing.
Because of that, you barely ever have to pedal.

While we were all having a blast together, TAKA showed up after riding his bike all the way from Nagoya.

This place is within riding distance even from Nagoya. TAKA said he arrived in about an hour and a half.

He quickly swapped into his sneakers and started riding the BMX bike he’d cleverly loaded onto the Circles van the day before.
This is a really great way to enjoy the sport.

If you keep practicing, you'll eventually be able to jump and clear the tabletop!
Everything takes practice, but when you finally learn how to fly, you get to experience the ultimate sense of weightlessness!

I’m still pretty clumsy myself, but I’m working hard on my practice.

Impressive! This guy really nails it!

I want more people to know how much fun this is, so I’m planning various events!
Stay tuned!
