Take care when test riding.

It’s been exactly one month since I arrived here in America. During this time, I’ve visited many places and gained some invaluable experiences.

A collection of memories.
I’m not just eating the whole time, I promise (laughs). Though, I certainly have been enjoying plenty of delicious food.
There is something new every day, but what I’m enjoying most right now is repeatedly testing the frame I built myself.
I hadn't shown you the bike yet, so I’d really love for you to see it.

What do you think?
Please let me know your thoughts.
After graduating from frame-building school, it’s no use just clutching onto my own frame; I have to ride it first.
And as expected, or perhaps it was inevitable, as soon as I assembled the completed frame, a number of issues that I hadn't noticed while building it began to surface, and it gives me goosebumps to realize once again just how amazing the frame builders handled by Circles truly are.
But there is no use lamenting what I lack right now.
For the time being, I’m riding as much as I can, justifying it by saying I’m working to uncover as many issues as possible.

Trails like this,

and tourist spots that my generation learned about in our English textbooks.

And then off to the trails again.
(I went all the way to the top of the mountain in the back.)
I have finished just under 300km of testing so far.
That things are going smoothly is entirely thanks to my instructors at UBI.
In a few days, I plan to head to Portland for a touring test of about 1,200km.
After that, I will be returning to Japan, and I also plan to participate in the Nobeyama CX (provided I finish the tour safely).
Circles, SimWorks, and EarlyBirds will all have booths at Nobeyama CX, and it is one of the most fun CX events in the country. Even if you don’t race, there’s plenty to enjoy.
Please, everyone, do come by, and while you're at it, feel free to drop by and tease my bike a little.
