閑話休題、たまにはバイクチェックを Anyway, time for a bike check.

Hi everyone. Makoto here, feeling a bit giddy now that my bike is finally finished.
Since graduating from school, I've been on the move so much that there's been so much I haven't been able to share.
I think things will calm down after the middle of the week, so today I'd like to share a bike check I did at the Hunter Cycles base.

Such a striking presence.
Just having a bike like this sitting around casually makes the hair on my arms stand up.

This bike belongs to the builder, Rick himself.

First off, you'll be intimidated by its sheer size.
How big, you ask?

Our overseas correspondent Rie-bo, who is 158cm tall, finds that it easily reaches past her chest when she holds it.
Incidentally, at 172cm, I can't even stand over it, and I'm sure it's not just because my legs are short (lol).

Now, let's take a closer look at the details.

This hybrid steel and carbon bike has beautiful joints.
The parts used are also exactly what you need, nothing more, nothing less.

Because he knows bikes so well, it doesn't just end up as a high-end luxury item; I think the ease of use as a tool is what's really here.
Using rim tape as a chainstay guard—that kind of clever touch is great.

Seeing our SimWorks products used properly right there, it warms my heart to know that our craftsmanship is trusted by such builders.

Having graduated from builder school and standing at the starting line of my own career as a builder, even the way the logos are applied is a lesson for me.

Sigh... it really is a cool bike.
The secret to its creation is inside here.

I'm sorry to keep you waiting, but I'll save the story of what's inside for next time.
Alright then, looking forward to the next one.
