“PORTLAND LIVING” is a Portland-style farmers market hosted by Taku Kobayashi of TDX that has been running since last year. The first event of this year took place yesterday, April 10th, so I stopped by before work.
Held in the parking lot of Sweet of Oregon, famous for their voluminous cheesecakes, this event is packed with familiar florists, fresh vegetables and juices from farmers, as well as sweets and coffee.
It’s so colorful that just looking at it puts you in a good mood.
Check out this Peterboro basket attached to a bike from Shin Hattori Seisakusho, who was also exhibiting there. It’s perfect for an event like this.
This time, Circles brought out our beer bike to sell draft beer from Y.MARKET BREWING.
We also offered test rides for "BIKE FRIDAY", bicycles handmade one by one in Eugene, Oregon!
Moving forward, we hope to keep creating opportunities like this for people to get interested in more than just handmade bikes.
This time, our sister store PINE FIELDS MARKET also made its debut. Happily, a line formed and the koppepan (bread rolls) sold out quickly.
Their baked goods were also a huge hit. Thank you very much.
There were also new initiatives like the talk session between TDX’s Taku Kobayashi and the Chairman of Chariken,
With additions like the drip coffee workshop by TRUNK COFFEE, PORTLAND LIVING just keeps getting better.
The next event is scheduled for 6/19 (Sun), so let’s head over together for a ride next time!
