Phil Wood

Following up on Mako-san’s introduction of Philwood oil,
I’d like to introduce some Philwood items that just arrived yesterday.

Philwood Seat Post Collars Silver: ¥4,200 Other Colors: ¥5,040

The long-awaited 30.0mm size has been added to the Philwood seat clamp lineup.
To all you steel bike users, including Surly riders, thank you for your patience.

And another item—one that had actually arrived earlier, but thanks to your support, the Polish version sold out quickly. Now, we finally have both colors back in stock: the Track Crank.

Philwood Track Crank Set Polish (165mm, 48T, PCD144mm): ¥105,000

Philwood Track Crank Set Black (165mm, 48T, PCD144mm): ¥105,000

It’s been a hot topic since before it was released; these CNC-machined aluminum cranks and the boldly hollowed-out chainring are sure to make you drool. They come standard with a 144mm PCD, 48T chainring. It’s a special set that includes the BB axle, cups, mudguards (caps to prevent dust from getting inside the BB), and a BB installation tool. The price is pretty special, too.

These cranks combine beauty with the strength to reliably transfer the rider’s torque. Ichie-san, a child of the velodrome, recently equipped these cranks on a newly built Kalavinka and headed to the Kansai Track Festa, and they proved rigid enough to hold up even against his power.
By the way, he placed 3rd in the 1000m TT at the Kansai Track Festa T2. Keep an eye on him again this year.
