Some of you may already know via social media, but Rie-bow, who was at the SimWorks Santa Cruz branch (?), has returned to Japan! After Micchan from Ariba graduated and things got a bit "manly" around here again, she’s been working hard every day as the sole woman at Circles & SimWorks!
Listening to Rie-bow talk about her life over there, and seeing the updates from the Californians I stay connected with on social media, makes it feel surprisingly close, despite the 10-hour flight.
Thinking about that, a huge shipment of new stuff from California just arrived!
Hunter Cycles “NASA-style Patches” ¥1,000 (tax excluded)
In a word: cool. These patches featuring a NASA-style logo are a must for marking your bags, caps, and more.
Also, we have fresh gear from Fresh Air Bicycles, a San Francisco bike shop that serves as the base for the FreshAir/Hunter CX Team, to which Rick Hunter himself belongs. They consistently make cool original bottles, and the new model has arrived as well!
Fresh Air Cycles “Strawberry Gangster Bottle” ¥1,300 (tax excluded)
They're bound to sell out in a flash, so get yours soon!
And this weekend, I’ll be away from the shop to head to Kyushu.
It will be my first time ever setting foot on Kyushu soil. Traveling to a place I've never been is exciting, especially since I'll be riding my bike there.
So, I’ll be taking my My Hunter (which I introduced the other day) and heading to the Rapha Gentlemen’s Race Oguni. Once again, we’ve been invited as the Circles Racing Club to embark on a great expedition to the Land of Fire, Kumamoto.
Be sure to check out the race progress on my Instagram or by following #rgr #raphagentsrace #circlesracingclub!
