Wait, Punch!!!

Announced at this year's Eurobike, Chris King's new color: Matte Punch.

Chris King has been expanding its production of matte colors since this year. This matte finish is created by applying surface treatment technology similar to that used on a certain company's smar○phone, which provides stable anodization and excellent fade resistance, while also giving your bike a sharp, defined look.

Born as a new matte color for 2018, Matte Punch (a flat, vibrant pink) serves as a successor to the much-missed pink color that was discontinued. What's more, it’s not a limited edition—it will be available as a standard color!

The Doppo paired with Matte Punch that SimWorks posted the other day is so fresh!

It will be available in a wide range of products, including the standard 1-1/8″ NoThreadSet, new bottom bracket standards like T47 and ThreadFit30 (which allows 30mm spindles to be installed in standard threaded BB shells), and hub sets.

This is the DeSalvo show bike, fully assembled with Matte Punch, which was actually on display at the recent Chris King Open House. This disc road bike, which can clear up to 32c tires, is a joy to ride, as if it's saying, "Take me anywhere!" While this specific bike has already found a home, we will have it on display in the shop for a little while longer, so please stop by if you'd like to see the color in person.

So, that's the new Matte Punch color. Depending on the item, they are scheduled to start arriving one after another starting in January after the New Year. Therefore, we are now accepting pre-orders to ensure you can get your hands on them if you are planning a new bike build or a parts swap.

Although arrival times may vary by item, we will deliver your pre-ordered parts as soon as they arrive. And of course, please feel free to consult with us about assembly using these parts!

From headsets and bottom brackets to hubs, Chris King is committed to manufacturing products that riders can use with peace of mind by making as much as possible in-house—starting with the bearings—to ensure they last as long as possible in peak condition, while also providing proper maintenance. Why not take this opportunity to incorporate their components into your ride?
