Last Saturday, we held the first-ever Maap In The Field Nagoya ride, a truly memorable occasion.
During the latter half of the long weekend, we were blessed with perfect weather. Everyone gathered at PFM, enjoyed some pre-ride coffee, and then took a relaxed ride from the city toward the Seto area. We guided the group along a pleasant route that passed through Jōkō-ji Temple.
We were very grateful that more than half of the participants were female riders, which made for a ride full of great saddle talk. Despite the strong sunshine, the refreshing breeze we felt while riding kept it from getting too hot, making for an ideal day on the bike.
We hope that by feeling the change of the seasons and enjoying a relaxed pace, everyone was able to expand their circle of cycling friends through this ride. We look forward to seeing many more female cyclists join us! Men are, of course, very welcome too! (I know saying it like that might make some hesitate to come, but everyone is welcome!) We will announce our next ride here as well, so please look forward to it.
Now, the MAAP EXHIBITION, which has been held in-store since last week, will conclude this weekend on the 13th.

Among this season's women’s models, it features a sophisticated color scheme that pairs perfectly with navy bibs. When you look closely at the fabric, you can see it’s quite sheer. While it is a color that might tend to hold heat, it is so breathable that you don’t have to worry about that, making it a reliable choice for rides as the weather gets hotter. It has the signature MAAP cut that fits snugly, but thanks to the highly stretchable fabric, it remains incredibly comfortable.
As for the men’s items, the M-Flag Ultra Light Jersey is getting a lot of attention and is quite popular. You can imagine its clear comfort just by looking at the see-through material, which can help you get through rides even in the harshest midsummer conditions.
Personally, I also recommend the State Pro Base Jersey Sage. It has a tight fit that nicely accentuates your physique, but it stretches so well that it feels exceptionally comfortable, allowing you to focus on your ride without any stress.
Also, we are expecting to have the recently released Aether Air Pro Jersey available for you to see in person this weekend, sooner than anywhere else.
This is a new concept jersey that combines four lightweight fabrics. It uses mesh material for the sleeves and side panels, and a special fabric with very small perforations on the chest and back. While it may fall slightly short of the aforementioned Ultra Light Jersey, it is still a reliable jersey that will serve you well through the end of summer. Supplies seem limited, so if you are considering one, please act quickly!
