I always thought the worlds I saw in movies and books were cool.
That’s why I still love movies and books today.
When I first visited the U.S. in February, I found the "worlds" I had seen in various films and the "things" I had read about in books right there.
The streets, the shops, the people, and the atmosphere.
It was a reality completely different from what comes through the small displays of our computers and smartphones.
"The shop floor has to be cool, or it’s no good!" our boss keeps saying.
There is no end to creating a shop floor, and it is never truly finished.
That’s exactly why the shop floor is so interesting.

Last week was endless rain, a typhoon that seemed to add insult to injury, and then more rain.
That was the kind of week it was.
I decided to be bold and rearrange the shop.
I made that decision by feeling the "weather" and the "now."
