This is a fighter plane. I gave it my all.
For now, I just want to get on the track and ride.
The first handmade bike I've ever owned isn't a cyclocross bike or a road bike, but a track bike—by choice!
I might very well be the only person in Japan riding an aluminum Sycip track bike.
The handlebars, stem, and seatpost are Simworks. What I particularly love is the beautiful line from the Caroline stem to the JohnB bars.
I could eat three bowls of rice just staring at this spot.
I went all in and threw on the HED wheels I’ve always dreamed of. It’s been five years since I first rode a track bike. I’ve finally arrived here.
And above all, this frame.
The thick aluminum tubing. The bold welds. Everyone tells me, "It's so JUS!"
Exactly. Being yourself, being authentic—that’s what a handmade bike is all about!
I’ve got the image in my head of tearing around the velodrome on this thing.
Well, at least I have the image.
