Now, about these wheels:
The most distinctive feature is undoubtedly the Velocity Aileron rims used.
When paired with 25–28c tires, the rim profile creates a beautiful teardrop shape that offers excellent aerodynamic performance, while the tire volume provides superior shock absorption.
They are also tubeless-ready, making them a sure bet for racing scenarios like cyclocross.
Despite having a 28mm rim height, they are finished to be lightweight, allowing them to cover everything from daily riding to racing.
For the hubs, spokes, and nipples, we have opted for components that prioritize stability, choosing Shimano and PhilWood.
The CX-75 series, which boasts absolute popularity as a road disc hub, is featured here in a 28-hole configuration—a rarity in this price range—which helps contribute to reduced air resistance. Some may feel uneasy about using 28 holes for cyclocross, but I personally raced on 28-hole rims for three seasons and have had no issues so far.
I've written quite a bit, but if I had to describe these disc wheels in one word, it would be,
"Well-balanced."
The wide range of compatible bikes, along with the aerodynamics, strength, weight, and price, are all well-integrated, making them very user-friendly.
If you own a disc brake bike and are struggling to choose a new set of wheels, we believe this is an excellent option to consider.
Thank you for your consideration.
