Giro "Privateer HV" ¥19,000 (tax excluded)
The Giro "Privateer," which was incredibly popular last year, has arrived once again!
This time, we selected the HV (High Volume) model. It features a shape designed for the wider, higher-instep feet common among Japanese people.
And it comes with a black body and a gum sole.
When you think of Velcro-strap clipless shoes, many people probably imagine a sporty design. The Giro Privateer pays no heed to such trends, making it a rugged, gutsy pair of shoes. The DuPont nylon sole isn't too stiff or too soft; it's designed to provide just the right amount of traction on the pedals.
Also, because they are softer compared to carbon soles, I think they would be great for backcountry trail rides that involve a lot of hike-a-bike, or even for cyclocross racing.
Since this is a model not released domestically, you won't often have the chance to see it in person and try it on.
If you're interested, be sure to check them out soon! We look forward to seeing you!
