It’s already been two months since we held the GIRLS RIDEALIVE in Hokkaido.
As there are very few events organized exclusively by women, and seeing an increase in female customers at Circles following that event, we decided to host our second GIRLS RIDE.

Last Sunday at 7:00 AM, after enjoying a meal and coffee at Early Birds next to Circles, we headed out through the city, taking a leisurely ride along the river toward Owari-Seto Station, a classic destination for us at Circles.

Once everyone gathered at the meeting point, Owari-Seto Station, we spent some time chatting and getting to know each other before setting off!

This was our route for this ride.
First, we left Seto and headed toward Toyota, riding along the Yahagi River. There were some moderate ups and downs, but the roads were easy to ride with little car traffic, and the nice weather made for perfect cycling conditions. It was still a little too early to fully enjoy the autumn foliage, but as we headed toward the mountains, the leaves were beginning to show some color in places.

To ensure everyone could finish the ride, Acchan from Early Birds prepared some snacks for us. While eating these energy bars, many questions unique to our group—like "what's inside these?"—were tossed around in conversation.

About halfway through, right when we started to feel hungry, we arrived at our lunch stop, Tsukimusubi.
For this ride, Bisco-san from Tsukimusubi specially prepared a lunch plate for us that isn't typically on their menu.

After enjoying a delicious meal, we pedaled on through Akechi toward Hanashiro Onsen.

Finally, we arrived at our final destination, Hanashiro Onsen. We soaked in the hot springs, reflecting on the day's ride and resting our tired bodies. For the trip home, we took our bikes on the train from Hanashiro Onsen Station on the Akechi Railway, which is right in front of the onsen, and headed back to our respective homes.
The fun time flew by, and the ride finished safely. We would be thrilled if this event helps expand our community of female riders further.

Riding on unfamiliar roads or covering new distances might feel daunting or discouraging when you're alone, but you'd be surprised how easy it is to finish when you're having fun with everyone else. So, why not stop being afraid and come ride with us? If you couldn't make it this time due to scheduling conflicts, or if you're a beginner and feeling a bit nervous, please feel free to come by the shop and talk to us—we’d be happy to provide advice on preparing for your next ride.
We plan to continue holding Girls Rides, FIX LIKE COOK workshops, and other events regularly, so we hope you’ll join us and help us increase these opportunities to enjoy cycling together! We look forward to having you join us!
