At SimWorks' request, this is a bespoke version of the standard Strawfoot nylon saddle bag, produced here in dual-tone waxed canvas. This simple saddle bag offers a different vibe from the popular Road Wrap. Its design is straightforward, featuring a 1-inch wide nylon strap that loops through the saddle rails. When removed from the bike, the zipper can be opened fully, allowing you to utilize every bit of its capacity.
As for capacity, it comfortably holds one 29er tube (or two road tubes), a tire lever, and a CO2 cartridge. Specialized ”Purist” BPA Free Bottle
The grizzly depicted on the California state flag—this is the "Dopey Bear" released by Strawfoot, appearing with a rather goofy expression. It comes in two versions: one representing the sunset, the other the post-sunset glow. If you look closely at the illustration, the charming expression differs between the two, revealing a glimpse of Garrett’s sense of humor. The base is, of course, a Specialized Purist bottle. Its shape makes it easy to drink from and minimizes the plastic smell, making it perfect for trail or gravel riding. Supplies are limited, so they are bound to sell out quickly.
Needless to say, the pinnacle of Strawfoot’s work is their waxed canvas, but their socks, belts, bottles, and other items—each infused with Garrett’s wit and style—are things you'll want to use in your daily life beyond just cycling.
