The SUMMER STORM SALE started on the 28th.

Thanks to all of you, the first weekend was a great success and things were quite hectic, but it has calmed down a bit on weekdays. We hope you will take advantage of this time to consult with us about custom orders or any concerns you have regarding a bicycle that perfectly fits your cycling life!
Since our announcement was very last-minute, some people came by without even knowing about the sale, so here is a quick review!
・15% off selected bicycles and parts in stock
・30% off selected cycle & outdoor apparel on the 2nd floor
And here is another important point!
・15% off Chris King Custom Wheel Set orders
These are the precision wheel sets used by Team Dimension Data in the recently concluded Tour de France, and this is the only exception where we are offering a special sale price not just on stock items, but also on custom orders.
Chris King hubs, which boast an excellent balance of durability, rotation performance, and weight, are designed to be used for a long time, including their performance features. Once you've finished the break-in period, you'll begin to understand why, and the bearings themselves will become more refined the more you use them. Those hubs that keep spinning smoothly don't just give you the satisfaction of ownership—they make you want to keep using them until they're worn out.
These wheels are built using such hubs by Chris King's exclusive wheel builders. We are offering them at a special price as a token of our gratitude and because we want as many of you as possible to try them out during this opportunity. We can suggest the best combinations to suit your bike's usage, so please come visit us in-store.
And besides custom orders, we currently have two sets of stock wheels available in-store as well.

The world of carbon technology is like the IT industry—it is said that when human intellect moves, the manufacturer's leverage changes. Regardless, when moving physical matter, lighter is obviously better, but combining that with durability—two conflicting requirements—is both wisdom and science. Carbon exists today as a result.
ENVE is now a carbon component manufacturer that commands respect. Their stance of constantly challenging limits is directly linked to their ability to remain on the cutting edge. These are wheels for disc road racers using those cutting-edge ENVE rims.
The SES (Smart Enve System) 3.4 disc-brake-specific rims, with a 38mm front and 42mm rear, have been finished into an all-around wheel that performs equally well on climbs and flats.

HED Belgium+ is well-regarded as an aluminum rim with a good balance of strength and light weight, but did you know that there is a 650B lineup for this rim? With a rim width of 25mm, it supports tires from 23mm to 58mm, making it the perfect fit for "road plus" standard tires like the WTB Horizon. A wheelset hand-spun with R45 Disc hubs is truly a masterpiece that can go anywhere and everywhere. Including the fact that it's almost impossible to find this rim width with tubeless compatibility on the market, I have just named it the "peerless, usage-first rim"!
With the recent increase in bikes equipped with disc brakes, the freedom regarding wheel diameter has expanded, and if there is enough tire clearance, one can downsize from a 700c wheel to a 650B wheel and fit wider tires. A new concept known as Chubby Road has been born. Being able to do all sorts of things with a single frame depending on your destination or how you want to ride, rather than needing to own multiple bikes, is just great! Why not use this opportunity to expand your own horizons?
So, let's take another look at the structure of the freehub body, which is a key feature of Chris King hubs and is completely different from many other manufacturers.
On the left is a typical hub, where the relationship involves three pawls on the freehub body side transferring force to a multitude of teeth on the hub shell side. The Chris King hub on the right has a completely different structure: simply put, all 72 teeth on the freehub body engage with all 72 teeth on the hub shell simultaneously.
Moreover, this is not powered by the small spring force seen in many hubs; it is a mechanism transmitted by the rider's pedaling force through the Helix Spline on the freehub body (the one that recently became a bottle design). While the direct drive resulting from the fine tooth count is a feature, it is, above all, a drive system with superior rigidity and transmission speed. (We have a cutaway sample of the hub in the shop, so we can explain its structure and mechanism—please feel free to ask if you're interested!)
I can assert that the wheel system is a very important element in changing the quality of your ride.
And it is best to be able to use it in good condition for a long time.
In the hope that the user themselves will actively maintain it, Chris King hubs are made with as simple a philosophy as possible. Of course, you can order even a single small part, so you can have peace of mind even in the worst-case scenario. First, please come in just to hear about the structure and mechanism.
Why not take this opportunity to get your hands on Chris King quality?
We are looking forward to your visit!
