"BIKE & CAMP: Bicycle Camping Touring Festa," an event themed around bicycle travel, will be held from Friday, June 1st to Sunday, June 3rd at Aogawa Gorge Camping Park in Inabe City, Mie Prefecture. Inabe City is a place familiar to many cyclists for the Ninose Pass, the vast meadows of Mt. Ryu, diverse local foods, and is also an ideal location for pottering and trail riding.

At this event, you can view and purchase items related to bicycle travel, such as bikes, parts, pannier bags, fire pits, tents, UL (ultralight) camping gear, cooking utensils, and cameras. There will also be workshops and talk shows covering topics like how to pack your bike, how to use public transport with your bike (rinko), how to choose gear, cooking with a single-burner stove, and how to build a campfire. Each manufacturer will also host events, demonstrations, and test rides that highlight their unique features.
Circles will be hosting a booth at this event, where we will share reports from last month's RIDEALIVE SHINSYU INA Valley held in Ina, Nagano Prefecture, host a workshop on the GIRLS RIDEALIVE in Hokkaido, sell bike packing items, exhibit bikes actually used in RIDEALIVE, and offer test rides of the 2018 KONA BIKES models! Our annual RIDEALIVE event series, also based on the fusion of riding and camping, is the perfect match for this event—both seek new fields and activities, emphasizing that playing and living are all about unleashing one's creative spirit.

Camping can often seem daunting, and many people feel that camping solo is difficult. This is an invitation to all of you: Why not come along with us to hear stories about bicycle camping? The distance from Circles is around 50km. You can choose to ride both ways, or just ride there and take the train back. For those who have never used public transport with their bike (rinko) before, we will be hosting a rinko workshop on-site. Take this opportunity to give it a try!
[6/2 (Sat) Day 1] Camping Ride
(Campsite capacity: 10 people)
We will depart from Circles and stay overnight at the campsite. While the general campsites are currently at capacity and have a waiting list, don't give up yet! Even if you missed out on reserving a spot, those participating in the ride from Circles can stay at the tent site! (Capacity of 10). If you have already reserved a campsite, you are still more than welcome to join the ride.
*There is no capacity limit for the ride itself. The 10-person limit applies only to ride participants who wish to use the designated tent site, provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
[6/3 (Sun) Day 2] Girls' Ride
If you are trying a long ride for the first time or want to ride with other women, let's ride together! This will also serve as preparation for the GIRLS RIDEALIVE in Hokkaido, which will be held from 8/25 (Sat) to 8/26 (Sun)! We plan to return via public transport (rinko) from the station nearest to the venue, so don't worry. Don't forget to bring your rinko bag. We also recommend bringing sandals or shorts since we will be taking the train.

Everyone is nervous when they start something new, and it's natural if you're interested in camping but don't know how to begin. You can just start by soaking in the atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you there!
