The heat has finally subsided, and I’ve returned to the daily routine in the kitchen of frying up eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast, serving plenty of breakfasts to everyone as usual.
During the Obon holiday period, more people than usual visited our shop, and I am grateful for the many lively and enjoyable mornings we shared.
A month has flown by since we returned from our trip to America, and while those three weeks feel like they might have been a dream, looking back at the photos reaffirms that we truly traveled across America.
This time, I’ve created an opportunity to report on the trip we took to America, accompanied by photos and brief descriptions.
While it is entirely subjective, I hope that by sharing even a little bit of those three weeks where we lived to the fullest using all our senses—the American cycling culture we felt, the trail culture, the cityscapes, the wonderful food, the warmth of the people, the beauty of the mountains, and more—it might spark a desire in you to head out on a trip or ignite your own urge to go have an adventure.
The event will be held at Early Birds, so the space will be a bit tight, but I hope we can all enjoy some drinks while I share these stories. Everyone is welcome to attend, so please come join us.
