It’s starting to feel a bit more like autumn, but we’re still seeing plenty of days where the temperature climbs near 35 degrees. Lately, I’ve been keeping a close eye on the movement of Typhoon Faxai.
One way or another, this is still the season for summer gear, but today I’d like to introduce a pair of gloves that are actually perfect for the period ahead.
When people hear ASSOS, many might think, "It’s too expensive." It certainly is pricey. But, of course, there’s a reason for that. It’s not great to judge things solely by price.
Regardless, the gear they make is best described as "equipment." They are truly the best tools for a comfortable ride. That applies not only to their flagship jerseys and bibs, but to their other accessories as well.

[ASSOS] RS Aero FF Gloves
Size : XXS / XS / S / M / L
Price : 8,800 yen (tax excluded)
The gloves newly released this year are a somewhat rare breed: long-finger gloves designed for summer.
The exterior uses an ultra-thin mesh textile for exceptional breathability. The palm features synthetic leather that, while thin, is durable and offers a high level of grip.
Thanks to the subtly placed low-rebound padding, long rides are comfortable (recently, many gloves have omitted padding as bar tape has become thicker, but ASSOS places it effectively).
Gloves are one of the few points of contact between the bike and the rider, making your choice critical. These are a dependable pair that won’t feel bulky, will absorb road vibrations, and maximize ventilation even in warmer months. While we've had a long streak of hot days, these are the perfect items to take center stage as the heat begins to ease up.

[ASSOS] RS Aero SF Gloves
Size : XS / S / M / L
Price : 7,600 yen (tax excluded)

[ASSOS] Summer Gloves S7
Size : XS / S / M / L / XL
Price : 6,800 yen (tax excluded)
For those who still prefer fingerless gloves, we also have our standard half-finger options in stock. In particular, I highly recommend our classic Summer Gloves S7—the terry cloth on the thumb is incredibly convenient for wiping away sweat while riding.
They certainly aren't inexpensive, but that is exactly why I encourage you to come to the shop and try them on. You'll be able to feel the quality for yourself.
