Everyone, this may be sudden, but do you know Ryohei Oguchi?
He is an incredibly famous figure in the cycling world, and I'm sure many of you already know him or are fans.
Ryohei Oguchi is a superhuman cyclist who traveled around the world on a Surly Long Haul Trucker.
He traveled 155,502 km across 157 countries—including Japan—over the course of eight and a half years, a record that is recognized as first in Japan and estimated third in the world. Since returning home, he has been actively involved in holding lectures across Japan and organizing touring trips, primarily in his home prefecture of Nagano.
And speaking of Ryohei Oguchi, he actually served as a special ambassador for our first event of the year, "RIDEALIVE SHINSYU INA Valley" (the ride report for this is coming soon!!).
He helped with route planning, ride support, and hosted a talk show at the night party on the final day.
His stories of cycling around the world—some harrowing and dangerous, yet somehow funny—combined with the beautiful scenery and the smiles of people from all over the world. Oguchi-san's personality, paired with every one of his grand adventure stories, drew the RIDEALIVE participants completely into the "Oguchi World." After the party ended, I immediately told him, "I want the people in Nagoya to hear your stories too," and he responded right away, "I'll go to Nagoya!"
So, that said!!
On Saturday, June 16th, Ryohei Oguchi is coming to Circles & Hedgehog Diner!!

And it's not just Ryohei Oguchi who will be joining us!!
We are inviting Take-san (Nobuhiro Takemura), the manager of the bike shop "CLAMP" in Ina City, Nagano Prefecture, who served as the main ambassador for RIDEALIVE SHINSYU INA Valley, to talk about the charm of the Ina Valley along with Ryohei Oguchi.
We are also having "Yamadori Shokudo" join us—the same group that treated us to delicious wild game dishes and salads and side dishes made with fresh seasonal ingredients at the wrap-up party!!
Takahashi-san from Yamadori Shokudo (pictured left) was born in Matsukawa, Shimoina District, Nagano Prefecture. As part of the regional revitalization corps in Nakagawa, Kamiina District, he is involved in game meat distribution, including butchery, retail sales, and the development of processed products at a local meat processing facility. Under his credo of "Make Our Own Energy," he creates meals and energy bars that make full use of the bounty of the Ina Valley's countryside. His favorite hobby is mountain stream fishing!

Date/Time: Saturday, June 16, 18:00 - 23:00 (Talk show from 18:30 to approx. 22:00)
Location: Circles Pit Special Venue
Participation Fee: ¥3,500 (Includes Ryohei Oguchi talk show, game meat platter, and 1 drink)
Capacity: 40 people. Numbered tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving early!
(Meals will be served around 20:00, before the second part of the talk show, so you can continue to enjoy your meal during the second part.)
And!! On the day of the event, we will hold an information session for GIRLS RIDEALIVE in Hokkaido, for which entries recently opened!!
What is GIRLS RIDEALIVE in Hokkaido? I want to participate but I'm feeling a bit anxious... If you are curious, the organizers—Miu-miu from PFM, Acchan from Aliba, and Aya-chan from Circles—will be there to put your concerns to rest, so please come join us!! We look forward to seeing you!
