Starting Monday, 4/1, repairs will be available from 7:00 AM! We are also hosting a "BIKE TO WORK" event at the same time.

It’s JUS.
Circles gets a lot of repair work!
Every single day, there is just so much repair work!
And by far, the most frequent requests are for "mamachari" (city bike) repairs.

This is what it looks like as soon as we open👆

Thankfully, city bike repairs keep coming in non-stop, without a break, until closing time.

"Wait, city bike repairs are the most common?! That’s a surprise!" Some of you might be thinking that.

"Do you even do city bike repairs in the first place?!" Some of you might be thinking that, too.

That's right, Circles is happy to perform repairs and customizations for city bikes, as well as any sports bikes you bring in, so please don't hesitate to consult us!

Now, to the main point.

Starting Monday, April 1st, our "Mamachari Zone"—the pit service area located between Circles and Earlybirds that handles city bike repairs and part replacements—will be opening at 7:00 AM every morning, in line with Earlybirds’ opening hours (except on our regular closing day, Thursdays)!!

Actually, I’ve had this plan in mind for a few years. It felt a bit lonely that Earlybirds is open bright and early at 7:00 AM, while the Circles shop next door stays dark until 10:00 AM (12:00 PM on Sundays and holidays). I wanted to at least have the "Mamachari Zone" running energetically from the morning.

Because morning is such a great time, right? I just love the morning!

With our new staff growing rapidly and our mechanic team at both Circles and Culture Club now capable of operating anywhere, now is the perfect timing to put this plan into action!!

We hope you’ll make use of this before your commute to work or school, while you're spending time at Earlybirds, or before heading out for a ride.

Please note that the Circles 1F Concept, Grocery, and 2F Tailored sections will continue with their regular opening hours. This early opening is strictly for repairs and maintenance only.

The mechanics will rotate weekly among JUS, Kamo, Yuya, and Tomoda!
I, JUS, will be the mechanic on duty for the first week, so feel free to leave any repairs or maintenance to me!

I’m looking forward to teaming up with Keita, the owner of Earlybirds, to energize the mornings in Nagoya!

There aren't many other bike shops out there doing repairs from 7:00 AM, right?
We look forward to seeing you!

Also, on that day, Monday, April 1st, we will be hosting "BIKE TO WORK" with Circles & Earlybirds serving as a BIKER’S OASIS—the first time we’ve done this in years!

(Sorry, the photo is old.)

What is BIKE TO WORK? It means "BIKE TO~," which is using a bicycle to go somewhere. In other words, riding your bike to work.

Instead of stressing yourself out in morning traffic or on a crowded train, why not use your own body to pedal your bike and activate your brain? It’s obviously the better choice.

In San Francisco, where BIKE TO WORK originated, they also hold events like "BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY" and "BIKE FROM WORK PARTY" (riding your bike from work to a party!).

On that day, between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, anyone who stops by Circles or Earlybirds while on their bike commute to work (or school) will receive a free cup of coffee at Earlybirds!!

Why not leave the house a little earlier than usual and grab a delicious breakfast at Earlybirds while getting your bike maintained?
That alone is guaranteed to make your day more fulfilling!

Circles and Earlybirds are here to support everyone's new life this spring!!

Everyone, please look forward to our early morning Circles!

If you’ve read this blog post, please tell your family, school friends, and colleagues that "Circles is doing repairs starting at 7:00 AM!"
Thanks everyone!
