My Ketta and I (2).

"Chris King" knows how important it is to approach things with sincerity.
It is far too simple to talk about the quality of the ride or the bike frames themselves that the Chris King team creates under the name Cielo. (And let me state clearly that others' opinions, including reviews, are completely useless when it comes to you owning the best bicycle for yourself.)
And the most important thing for me to convey first is that the Cielo team are "super cyclists" who know better than anyone what it means to ride a bike, and are "craftspeople" who do the manufacturing with their own hands. They are building these frames with a solid understanding of what should be made and how, for those who know the "method," and they understand what happens next when things made with such careful observation are used by those who know the craft.
The original dropouts and bridge small parts made in their own factory, the technique used to weld them with precision, and the water-based paints used out of belief in the social environment. Furthermore, the connections with people built up through Chris King Precision Components over the years are all essential elements. I can state with certainty that the frame born from the intersection of that software and hardware is, as far as I believe, one of the world's highest-standard mass-produced handmade frames.
Since my bike is based on the Sportif Classic show bike that was exhibited at NAHBS three years ago (thanks to an inside perk, it has a special paint job on the fenders), I want to be careful not to diminish the unique talents of such an overwhelmingly expressive frame when building it up.
Of course, the cockpit is SimWorks. The main components are, as expected, wired Ultegra. (Priuses and Lexuses are, in many ways, just too heavy. You can't talk about the performance of Japan's infrastructure without knowing the virtues of a Corolla. Ferraris are out of the question for me. I’d like to see what the near future brings from the German side.) The bearing systems are, of course, Chris King. The tires are the practical and sturdy Panaracer.
The more you overthink a bicycle, the uglier it often becomes, so I prefer my own bike to be seasoned lightly, like a simple seafood-based broth with just a hint of salt.
