[Renewal Opening] Circles RE : START!!

We were closed for a while for renovation.
Now, thank you for waiting! From tomorrow we welcome you all with our renewal opening!

First, the 1st floor. Open the bright red door in the center, and you'll find glossy frames and a whole wall of gleaming bicycle parts lined up in rows.

We display and sell the brands we handle with care, starting with SIMWORKS, in a form that's easier to browse than ever. We've sorted out the grouping of parts and the flow through the store, and it has been reborn with a layout where “go to that corner and you'll find what you want at a glance.”

Go further in and there's the pit where bikes are built up. Do come and watch a bike take shape before your eyes. This floor also has the repair pit that supports the neighborhood's bicycles, and sells bicycle-related consumables.

The 1st floor is well stocked not just with bicycles but with a lineup where you can feel “play” and “culture,” too. We'd be glad if it becomes a space that bike lovers, of course, and those who aren't can enjoy as well.

Now, on to the 2nd floor, up the stairs to the left of the Circles entrance.
Here we propose a lifestyle centered on the bicycle.

This 2nd floor is what changed most in the renovation. The floor area has been expanded to about 1.5 times, and we've assembled a wider lineup, from essentials like helmets and sunglasses to apparel, bikepacking gear, and even hiking and camera-related items. In the spacious setting you can enjoy an atmosphere different again from the 1st floor.

And though it's a small space, we've also newly set up a library corner. Read books and magazines that aren't for sale, plan a ride, think through your packing for a tour. We hope it becomes a place where chance encounters are born.

For the full picture of both the 1st and 2nd floors, come and see in store! Look forward to it!

We'll also be running an in-store-only campaign to mark the renewal opening!

Do take this opportunity to come and visit the renewed Circles!

We look forward to your continued support.

#13 Chan-Mai's Break Room

In moving this renovation forward, I kept thinking long and hard about what I myself wanted from this space. The theme I set was “imagination and community.”

Circles marks its 20th anniversary this year. Within those long years there must have been countless meetings and partings, exchanges and adventures.

I didn't see the source of all that up close myself. Which is exactly why: the scenery my seniors saw, their thinking. I've long been searching for that source, asking what the right answer is for Circles.
At the same time, I felt I also had to face the question, “How do we create the Circles of the future?”

In many senses of the word, we needed to smash through the walls.

That however many years or decades pass, Circles goes on being a place bicycle culture radiates from. That when you come here your imagination expands, people meet people, and community is born naturally.

I want it to be that kind of place, and I believe strongly and deeply that it should be.
