WHITE INDUSTRIES is a California-based component manufacturer. The manufacturer, which produces high quality machined aluminum parts with beautiful shapes, has been involved with the California builder community for a long time and has a long history of fans.

The light weight and clean, minimalist look make these hubs ideal for road and gravel bikes.
However, its rugged and durable design makes it equally suitable for mountain bikes and touring bikes.

Designed around the mounting standard for center-locking splined disc rotors, the core of the rear CLD is a heat-treated and blackened 4130 chromoly steel axle with aluminum axle ends.

It is supported by four Enduro bearings, two in 6061-T6 aluminum hub shells and two in 6/4 titanium freehub bodies.

Freehub Body/Cassette
"Shimano HG 8-12 speed" freehub body: Shimano Hyperglide 8-12 speed cassette compatible (spacers for 8-10 speed cassettes and 11-speed mountain cassettes not included)

Shimano Micro Spline" freehub bodies are compatible with Shimano Micro Spline cassettes.

Rotor Specifications

Lock ring compatibility
Inner-spline lock rings such as White Industries and Shimano SM-RT81
Outer-spline lock rings such as White Industries, Shimano SM-HB20 and HB-M8010

Rotors and lockrings that do not strictly conform to Shimano specifications may not work properly with our hubs.
SRAM inner-spline rotor lock rings cannot be used with rear CLD hubs.
Radial assembly (radial assembly) is not supported.
