Developed by Pete Goegle, the Midwest's singlespeed guru, the 1x1 Singleator gives you a pure taste of what mountain biking is all about without wasting your money.
It is difficult and rather expensive to incorporate a track end, especially if the bike is typically aluminum or carbon based. By installing the Singleator on the derailleur hanger, the extra chain slack created when converting a road end bike to single speed can be eliminated and tension can be maintained easily, effectively, and adjustably.
The Singleator features a triple-shielded spring, a wide range of cog compatibility, protection against chain drift and jumps, perfect chainline adjustment, floating tension pulleys, and stainless steel pivot bushings. The main body is cold forged for extra strength, an improvement over the original model.
The 11T pulley provides quiet and smooth chain transport and works with both 1/8" (BMX) and 3/32" (gear bike) chain sizes.
Beware of similar products, the Singleator is the original and better than any other product.
