This fall,three new colors have been added tothe Mountain Clogcollection.

- Wild Rose Upper - Wild Rose Webbing

In Montana, particularly around Missoula, an ancient geological formation known as the Belt Supergroup—formed approximately 1.4 to 1.5 billion years ago—is widely distributed.In the Bonner area, located east of Missoula, “Bonner Quartzite”—a component of this geological formation—is found. Depending on the minerals it contains, such as feldspar, this quartzite can exhibit shades of pink, red, and purple.

These deep, rich colors found around Missoula evoke images of nature and the earth itself.

　

- Chanterelle Upper - Abstract Brown Webbing 

The Chanterelle—the mushroom that inspired the name—is an edible mushroom that grows wild in the forests of western Montana. This color evokes the warmth of naturally growing plants and the seasonal hues of the trees’ leaves.

　

- Cascade Green Upper - Cascade Green Webbing

This color also appears in the 2026 Cairn Evo series.
“Cascade Green” evokes deep forests, moss, and damp trails. From the upper to the webbing, the entire shoe is finished in this single shade—a deep green that blends seamlessly into the natural surroundings.

 

A new sandal from Bedrock Sandals

BEDROCK SANDALS has relocated from Oakland, California, to Missoula, Montana, where the natural outdoors are even more abundant. However, in that region with its harsh winter cold, it was difficult to get through the entire year wearing only their existing sandals. As a result, they needed footwear that offered functionality on par with the rest of their sandal lineup while also ensuring comfort during the winter. This pair was developed to meet that need.

With a design that fully covers the foot from the instep down , this Mountain Clog keeps the winter cold at bay, making it a versatile pair that can be worn year-round. Worn with thick, warm socks, it provides exceptional insulation. Furthermore, since there’s little risk of bumping your toes or dropping something and getting injured, you can wear them without worry in a variety of situations while maintaining safety.

Furthermore, their rounded, gentle appearance pairs exceptionally well not only with outdoor wear but also with casual outfits, making them a versatile “stylish pair” suitable not just for outdoor activities but also for everyday wear.

Features of the Suede Leather Mountain Clog

The upper is made of durable suede leather, which is lightweight and flexible. The interior is lined with soft polyester spacer mesh, providing comfort and excellent breathability.

The clog’s footbed is made of polyurethane, offering excellent cushioning and durability, and is anatomically contoured with a zero-drop design (where the heel and toe are at the same height).

The patented Mountain Clog design features high-quality webbing that is adjustable at three points, as well as a covered climbing rubber toe cap designed to handle any adventure.

The black, non-marking Vibram® MegaGrip rubber outsole offers exceptional traction and durability, delivering reliable performance in all conditions. It is resoleable.

・The straps across the instep and heel are adjustable via G-hooks, just like on the Cairn Evo 3D Pro. Since there is no strap across the toe box, the fit is slightly less secure compared to the Cairn Evo series, but this provides a greater sense of freedom for the toes. The strap on the outer instep releases with a single motion and securely holds the foot in place, making it easy to put on and take off.

・The footbed features a gently contoured shape—right in between the completely flat Cairn Evo and the three-dimensional Cairn Evo 3D, which is designed to support the sole of the foot. Additionally, as it has the thickest footbed in the BEDROCK SANDALS lineup, it offers excellent cushioning and remains comfortable even when worn all day long, reducing fatigue.

・The outsole, newly designed specifically for clogs, offers the functionality required for outdoor activities while remaining easy to use when pedaling a bicycle or in everyday situations. It also features Vibram® Mega Grip, providing excellent traction on wet or muddy surfaces.

・The toe area, which experiences frequent physical contact, is coated with rubber to enhance safety and durability.

Comparison with the Cairn Evo Series

Compared to the Cairn Evo series, these sandals are made slightly smaller. Therefore, if you typically wear the Cairn Evo series in a snug, exact-fit size, we recommend choosing one size larger than your usual size.

Comparison with the Previous Cairn Series

Since these sandals are designed to be worn with socks, they are made about one size larger than the Cairn series. While you may find them a bit roomy when worn barefoot, you can secure them firmly by adjusting the three straps.
