[MECHANIC'S COMMENT]

The rugged VELOCITY Nobs are designed for ultra-durability.
The thick sidewalls and internal reinforcements deflect damage, while the 15% thicker spoke bed handles the high loads placed on the spokes.
The entire unit is solid aluminum with no brake surface machining.

The long-awaited silver color has arrived for the SHIMANO CUES hub, which covers conventional 11-speed and lower grades. As the market standard has shifted almost entirely to thru-axle specifications, the options for quick-release hubs have become truly scarce. Furthermore, it is a fact that when you add the requirement of a silver finish, the options narrow down dramatically, and there are often price barriers as well.
The HB/FH-QC400 Silver is a reliable piece of gear that covers those needs solidly and will be a great ally to many cyclists.

We have finished these wheels to provide a balance of sturdiness and value. If you are looking for a wheel that uses silver parts, feels solid and rugged, but is still easy on the wallet, this set is highly recommended.

What are wheels to a bicycle? They are essential parts for the bike to move forward, and as the saying "fashion starts at the feet" goes, they also have a huge influence on the look. Wheels are such a crucial component. This time, I’d like to talk not about performance, but about how they are built.

In the world of bicycle wheel building, there are two types: "factory-built" and "hand-built."

"Factory-built" refers to wheels that manufacturers ship as finished products, and in principle, there is almost no major adjustment for us shop mechanics to do. (Minor adjustments are necessary, and some, frankly, cannot be fixed without intervention). Because of this configuration, they are often adjusted for an unspecified large number of users or for professionals/pro-level riders, and are not made with each individual customer in mind.

That is where the "hand-built" method, which Circles excels at, comes in.
The advantage of "hand-built" is that, as the name suggests, we select each component one by one and we mechanics assemble them to build a "wheel" that is a perfect fit for the rider.
