The TF1 is a fitting tool that measures saddle height, angle, fore-aft position, and distance to the handlebars, allowing you to record your usual riding position as numerical values. Designed using the “BMR (Biomechanical Reference) Line” found on ERGON saddles as a standard, it makes it easy to reproduce your riding position even after swapping out your saddle.

Once you’ve recorded your preferred position, it’s convenient not only when you want to revert to your original setup after replacing parts, but also when you want to standardize your riding position across multiple bikes.

Bike fitting might sound a bit complicated, but the TF1 is simple: just attach it to the saddle and measure the various parts. It lets you properly save settings that you might have previously adjusted based on a rough guess like, “Is this about right?” The more you tinker with your bike yourself, the more you’ll appreciate having one of these in your toolbox.
