Chris King headsets are built around serviceable, in-house bearings and the patented GripLock® retention system, designed to keep headset preload consistent while isolating bearing adjustment from steerer-tube clamping.
DropSet™ 6 is an integrated headset for straight 1-1/8" steerers using 41mm 45°/45° upper and lower bearings.

Chris King headset support and installation manuals
As with other precision headsets, correct headtube preparation and bearing-seat dimensions are important. Reaming or facing may be required depending on the frame.
