Bicycle Day: A Visual History of the World's First Acid Trip
By Brian Blomerth
Introduction by Dennis McKenna
WHOA!
Released in 2019, this graphic novel is a true "visual treat" with a unique touch by Brian Blomerth.
It is based on Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann's first-hand experience of the sensory world. The setting is on a bicycle.
Blomerth's colorful and somewhat humorous renderings provide a unique visualization of this psychedelic experience. The classic comic book atmosphere with a bit of playfulness works well, and you will discover something new every time you turn the page.
You can read it carefully or just browse through it.
Enjoy this "special experience" at your own pace!
