A Versatile All-Road Touring/Commuter Bike
Based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada,C&L CYCLESfoundedBASSIin 2009and has been producing track bikes and classic touring frames ever since.
The Hog’s Back is an all-road touring/commuter frame designed and engineered based on the riding experience accumulated over many years by the C&L CYCLES staff.
This bike frame was born from the team’s journey—from the streets of their hometown, Montreal, to the highways of Vermont and the dirt roads of Peru—all while riding with loads both large and small.
A bike that combines practicality, functionality, and beauty
The Hog’s Back, which offers the highest off-road performance among the BASSI lineup and can be built in a variety of ways, features disc brakes, wide tire clearance, and numerous mounting options.
With a 1-1/8" head tube, a BSA/JIS 68mm shell threaded bottom bracket, and front and rear quick-release hubs—all very standard specifications—it is compatible with many parts used worldwide.
It comes standard with a kickstand plate so it can be used as a commuter bike, allowing it to perform exceptionally well not only for adventure touring but also as a daily runabout for errands.
Another key feature is its compatibility with both 26" and 650b wheels.
With its classic look intact and a wide range of options, this Hog’s Back is the perfect bike for those with high expectations.
And the head badge is cute, too.
